The Logistics World is heading to Liverpool

The Logistics World will be congregating in Liverpool for the IFWLA (International Federation of Warehousing Logistics Association) Annual Convention on 1 - 4 June 2015. This will be the third time that the convention of the IFWLA - global logistics operators' networking organisation - will be held in the UK.

A four-day programme of business and culture is planned for some 250 national and international delegates, comprising manufacturers, retailers, third party logistics (3PL) providers and other supply chain and logistics practitioners.  Bringing together all sides of the global logistics industry, the international convention is under-pinned by a two-day conference to be held on Tuesday 2 June and Wednesday 3 June, at Liverpool's historic Town Hall.

Hosted and organised by the UK's 3PL trade body, UKWA (United Kingdom Warehousing Association), the conference theme is: 'Change equals new opportunities - the changing face of global logistics, and the opportunities for you'. The Town Hall is only minutes away from the convention hotel - Hard Days Night Hotel.

IFWLA's newly elected President - Derrick Potter, Chairman of Potter Logistics UK, said: "In June 2015, the UK will be hosting the IFWLA convention in Liverpool, England during the period 1-4 June 2015. Liverpool is a city that is undergoing a significant regeneration programme and an ideal showcase for the UK's logistics industry. I am looking forward to organising a conference programme, which will deliver high networking value and lasting memories."
