Nationwide haulier, WS Transportation, has chosen to implement Connexas Group’s vehicle telematics solution to enhance efficiency, productivity and customer visibility across its ever-growing fleet of vehicles.
Specialising in logistics for the construction industry in addition to high and heavy haulage, WS Transportation has experienced 30% year-on-year growth over the last 5 years, organically and from a series of strategic expansions into new areas.
In a bid to stay at the cutting edge of the latest in connected vehicle technology, WS Transportation has implemented Connexas Group’s ‘all-in-one’ telematics system, including remote tachograph download, which has been integrated seamlessly into existing planning software and tachograph analysis systems.
Ed Stobart, Operations Director at WS Transportation commented “Access to the latest technologies is key to our strategic growth plans. With proven expertise in this area, the team at Connexas was able to provide a bespoke solution to ensure we remain competitive and push the boundaries in terms of our customer experience. We intend to explore other benefits in the future by using the technology to enhance driver behaviour and improve fuel efficiency.”
Damon Daniels, IT & Systems Manager at WS Transportation, said: “When it comes to tracking our fleet, it is key for us and our customers to have real-time visibility of every vehicle and driver. The Verilocation product was easy to integrate with our existing software and is already delivering efficiency and visibility benefits. Crucially, it also complements our clients’ systems, so they have secure visibility of goods in transit.”
Andrew Overton, CEO of Connexas, said: “Being able to provide our customers with a bespoke solution, which is designed to keep them at the forefront of their markets, is part of what we do. We’re proud to be able to do this for such a forward-looking organisation, and we are certain that our partnership with WS Transportation will go from strength to strength.”
