BCGA adds 100th document to information library

National trade body The British Compressed Gases Association (BCGA) has added the 100th guidance document to its comprehensive reference library, developed to provide a useful resource to the transport and logistics sector.
The Association has broken through the landmark figure with the publication of the Technical Information Sheet 46, ‘Transportable Gas Cylinders – Valve Life.’
BCGA provides a wealth of information on how to safely use, store, transport and handle industrial, medical and food gases – with documents of interest to a wide-range of sectors where gases are used including, as well as transport and logistics, the education and campus, manufacturing, food and drink processing, automotive, healthcare and facilities management and welding industries
All documents can be accessed free of charge through the publications area of the BCGA website www.bcga.co.uk
The information is produced through BCGA bringing together industry expertise from across its membership and other sources, all overseen by its specialist technical sub-committees.

As well as its publications, BCGA also actively promotes safety practice through its participation in the preparation and revision of National, European and International Standards.
