Integrating with a companys business system, jobs are sent directly to the in-vehicle computer, delivering full job details to the engineers fingertips without the need for phone calls or paper work orders. The integrated vehicle tracking shows the exact location of the engineers vehicle at all times whether they are stationary or travelling to site. In an emergency, this assists dispatchers to send the nearest available engineer to priority calls.
The system eliminates the opportunities for error in relaying work order changes to the engineer as the system can be updated on the fly by customer service staff / despatchers, immediately notifying the engineer of the revised details. Throughout the day, engineers also use the in-vehicle computer to electronically enter and send work order information back to the office - accurately and legibly.
