CEVA accredited as Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) in the UK and Ireland

CEVA Logistics, a global supply chain management company, has been recognised as an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) in the UK by the European Union. In order to qualify for AEO status, CEVA had to meet strict AEO security and customs standards. This adds to the AEO accreditation CEVA secured in Ireland in 2010.
The AEO concept constitutes a main element of the Customs Security Programme of the European Union. Approved parties with AEO status benefit from customs simplifications and fast-tracking of applications.

"With this certification we have demonstrated our impeccable execution credo. AEO measures our compliance in ISO, Security, HR and Finance. It has helped us to raise compliance levels and improve existing internal controls. Customs simplifications would not be granted without being able to meet the AEO criteria and without customs simplifications we would not be able to offer customs solutions or be competitive in the brokerage marketplace. Overall, the AEO certification is reassurance for our customers that CEVA is a company that can be trusted to provide operational excellence in freight management."
