SARIA transport managers hit prestigious career milestone

Four transport managers from Europe's largest food chain by-products processor, SARIA, have been accredited as professional members of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
The endorsement, which allows each manager to carry the title MILT (Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) after their surname, is recognition of their industry experience, professionalism and a commitment to setting the highest standards in logistics practice.
As part of the accreditation process, each candidate was asked to submit a three-year personal development plan (PDP), as well as setting personal progress targets. These documents, alongside their CVs, were then assessed for compatibility by a board of transport directors.
Now professionally-accredited as full members of the CILT, each manager is fully endorsed by the Institute as a highly qualified and experienced logistics management experts.

SARIA is Europe's largest food chain by-products processor, with 6,800 employees at more than 179 facilities across 19 countries. In the UK, the company handles more than 1m tonnes of raw materials each year and operates its own fleet of collection vehicles.
